Sustainable & Eco-Friendly Gift Ideas

Tis the season of giving! But it's also unfortunately the season of mass-consumption and waste. Don't get me wrong - I absolutely love giving (and receiving) gifts around the holiday season, but I always feel bad about the amount of waste that is created. Between wrapping materials, shopping/packaging materials, and the plastic silverware/plates/straws used for parties and celebrations, we consume a substantial amount of one-time-use plastics and waste-products this time of year.
I've honestly always been aware of this problem, but now that I have a new job with an organization that focuses on conservation efforts, becoming more environmentally friendly and aware of unnecessary waste has become even more ingrained in who I am. That's why this year, I'm making it an even bigger priority to be more eco-friendly and conscious of my materialistic consumption. If you'd like to join me this holiday season, I'm sharing my favorite sustainable and eco-friendly gift ideas! You can shop the links below!
