Holiday Cranberry Moscow Mule Recipe

Are you planning on having guests over for the holidays? Hosting a dinner party sometime soon? Just looking for a new festive cocktail to enjoy during all of the stressful holiday madness? You're in the right place!

Moscow Mules have been around for many years, and I have loved them since the first time I tried one! If you've never had one, I highly recommend it! (Just be warned: they are much stronger than you realize!) If you've enjoyed a Moscow Mule before, but would be into trying something slightly different, I offer you a festive twist on the traditional drink: a Cranberry Moscow Mule!

This in my very first "recipe" I have posted on my blog, so I am going to spare you a super long narrative about this. Let's be honest - most people don't want to scroll through paragraphs and paragraphs of text where I explain why I'm posting this recipe, so I will leave it at this: I like Moscow Mules and I like Vodka Cranberries, so I tried this concoction and loved it so much that I wanted to share it with others!

So please enjoy, and have yourself a "merry little cocktail!"

Holiday Cranberry Moscow Mule

Yield: 1 cocktail

Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • copper mug

  • ice cubes

  • 4 oz. ginger beer (I used Reed's Zero Sugar Craft Ginger Beer - found at Trader Joe's!)

  • 3 oz. cranberry juice (I used Trader Joe's Sparkling Cranberry Juice Blend for extra fizz!)

  • 2 oz. vodka of your choice

  • juice from 1/2 lime (approximately 1 tablespoon of lime juice)

  • fresh cranberries (can be frozen)

  • extra limes for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a copper mug approximately half way with ice cubes.

  2. Add ginger beer, cranberry juice, vodka, and squeezed juice from lime to the mug.

  3. Stir in the mug until combined well. (You can also use a cocktail shaker to mix if desired.)

  4. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a lime wedge. Serve immediately.

Enjoy!

As always, thanks for reading! And happy holidays!
